From Hanoi, this program will lead you first in the region of Mai Chau to meet the White Thais before touching a journey to Sapa and its ethnic minorities who inhabit the region. On return, the North-East of the country will offer its wonderful sites of Ba Be, Cao Bang before ending with a cruise on Halong Bay.

Day 1: Ha Noi. Arrival

Arrival at the airport in Ha Noi, welcome and transfer to the hotel located in the city center (the room is available from 12:00). Free time. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 2: Ha Noi. Visit (B)

Breakfast. 08:30, departure to visit the city: Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Tran Quoc Pagoda. Lunch during visits. In the afternoon, continuation of the visit: Ethnographic Museum, Temple of Jade. Ride (one hour) by cyclo to visit the old town. In the evening, water puppet show. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 3: Ha Noi- Ninh Binh- Mai Chau (B)

Breakfast. 08:00, road to Trang An, called "The Land Halong Bay". On arrival, boarding for a cruise for about 03 hours, fabulous scenery! Visit the beautiful caves. Free lunch. Drive to Mai Chau, the capital of the White Thais. Arrival in Mai Chau in the late afternoon. Settling in the house on stilts. In the evening, possibility of being at the spectacle of minority dance and traditional music with taste of local wine ("Can’’). Overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 4: Mai Chau- Son La (B)

Breakfast. Morning devoted to hiking in the White Thai villages Lac and Pom Coong. 8:30, drive to Son La.  Stop occasionally in route to visit the minority villages and take photos. Free lunch en route. Arrival in the afternoon. Visit of  the prison and museum in Son La. Overnight in Son La.

Day 5: Son La- Sa Pa (B)

Breakfast. 08:00, road to Sa Pa by crossing the Black River and wild landscapes. Free lunch en route. Continuation of the road to Sa Pa, a very nice little town where we find the Black Hmong, Red Zao, Thaïs and Giay. Arrival in Sa Pa in the late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.

Day 6: Sa Pa. Visit (B)

Breakfast. 09:00, departure to visit minority villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, the most beautiful area of Sa Pa. Meeting people in colored clothing from different ethnic groups of Tay and Dzay. Return to Sa Pa and then exploration on foot of Ham Rong Mountain with panoramic view in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.

Day 7: Sa Pa- Coc Ly market (Tuesday)- Tuyen Quang (B)

Breakfast. 07:30, departure to visit Coc Ly market which takes place only on Tuesday morning. Continuation by a descent of the river to join Bao Nhai, crossing remarkable locations. Landing. Road to Tuyen Quang. Stop en route occasionally for taking photos. Arrival at Tuyen Quang in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel in Tuyen Quang.

Day 8 : Tuyen Quang- Ba Be (B)

Breakfast. 08:00, departure for Ba Be, one of the most beautiful natural sites in Northeastern Vietnam, passing through beautiful mountain scenery. Arriving in Ba Be in the afternoon, check into the hotel in the national park. Overnight in Ba Be.

Day 9: Ba Be. Visit (B)

Breakfast. 08:00, taking of a cruise on Ba Be Lake located in the national park. Visit of Dau Dang waterfall. Free lunch with villagers. After lunch, departure to visit the cave of Pua Ma, a superb cave in Ba Be and then return to Pac Ngoi village to explore the daily life of Tays. Overnight among inhabitants in Ba Be.

Day 10: Ba Be- Ban Gioc Cascade- Cao Bang (B)

Breakfast. 07:30, departure to visit the most beautiful waterfall Ban Gioc in the northern Vietnam. Continuation of the road to Cao Bang, crossing wild landscapes. Overnight at the hotel in Cao Bang.

Day 11: Cao Bang- Lang Son (B)

Breakfast. 08:30, departure to Lang Son. Stop en route to visit the local market (if applicable). Continuation of the road crossing the Sino-Vietnamese border. Free lunch in route. Arrival in Lang Son in the afternoon, visit of the large market Dong Kinh and the cave Tam Thanh. Overnight in Lang Son.

Day 12: Lang Son- Ha Long. Overnight on the traditional grouped junk (B,L,D)

Breakfast. Departure around 8:00 for Ha Long bay "Bay where arised the Dragon" named World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Arrival in Ha Long around midday. Getting on a traditional grouped junk for a cruise in the bay dotted with islands and islets in any form. Lunch on board of seafood. In the afternoon, continuation of the trip to visit Sung Sot Cave (Cave of Surprise). Stop at Titov Beach (Swimming possible). Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 13: Ha Long- Ha Noi. (B, L)

Breakfast. Visit of the cave of Tunnel by small boat. Continuation of the cruise until the middle of islands scattered in divers forms in Bai Tu Long Bay, the island Trong, Turtle ... Lunch of seafood on board. Landing around noon. Back to Ha Noi. Stop in route to visit a workshop of pottery. Arrival in Ha Noi, check in at the hotel. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 14: Ha Noi. Free day (B)

Breakfast. Free time for the personal discovery. Overnight in Ha Noi.                        

Day 15 : Ha Noi. Departure (B)
