With this combined tour Vietnam / Laos, we will take you to a first discovery of the Northern Vietnam andHalong Bay before taking the train to Lao Cai on the Chinese border. You will leave Vietnam by Dien Bien Phu before entering in Laos and meeting the beautiful areas in northern Laos This discovery of Laos will take you to meet Luang Prabang, the city of the monastery, before descending to Vientiane, the capital of Laos.

Day 1: Ha Noi. Arrival

Pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel (check in from 12:00). Free time. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Ha Noi. City tour (B)

Breakfast. 8:00, visit of the city: The Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, his house on stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. Afternoon, visit of the Museum of Ethnography. Walk through the old town with a visit to Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake. Ride (one hour) by cyclo to visit the old town. In the evening, puppet show on the water. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 3: Ha Noi- Site of Trang An-Tam Coc (B)

Breakfast. 8:00, road to Ninh Binh, called "Ha Long Bay on Land ». Arriving in Trang An, taking a cruise for about 03 hours, fabulous scenery! Visit of beautiful caves. Continuation of the road to Tam Coc. Tour (cycling) of the Jade Pagoda and the surrounding villages. Overnight in Tam Coc.

Day 4: Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay (B, L, D). Night on the traditional grouped junk

Breakfast. 8:00, departure for Ha Long Bay "Bay where arised the Dragon" named World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Arrival in Ha Long around midday. Going aboard a traditional grouped junk for a cruise in the bay dotted with islands and islets in any form. Lunch on board of seafood. In the afternoon, continuation of the trip to visit Sung Sot Cave (Cave of Surprise). Stop at Titov Beach (Swimming possible). Dinner by candlelight. Overnight on board.

Day 5: Ha Long Bay-Ha Noi (B, L). Night train to Lao Cai

Breakfast. Visit of the cave of Tunnel by small boat. Continuation of the cruise until the middle of islands scattered in divers forms in Bai Tu Long Bay, the island Trong, Turtle ... Lunch of seafood on board. Landing around noon. Back to Ha Noi. Stop in route to visit a workshop of pottery. . arrival in Ha Noi, transfer to Railway station for the night train to Lao Cai which depart at 21h10 or 21h30 (AC berth - 4 persons/ cabin). Overnight in tha train.

Day 6: Lao Cai-Sa Pa (B). Visit

Arrival at Lao Cai railway station. Breakfast. Transfer to Sa Pa. Departure to the village of Lao Chaiminorities and then hike to the vilage of Ta Van (approximately 3.5), the most beautiful area of Sa Pa. Meet the people of different ethnicities: Black Hmongs, Red Dazos and Tay Dzay in colorful traditional customs. Back to Sa Pa, visit the local market. Overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 7: Sapa-Lai Chau (B)

Breakfast. 8:00 departure to Lai Chau by crossing the valleys in the green and yellow of the rice field. Free lunch along the way. Continuation of the road to Lai Chau through a mountain in the luxuriant vegetation. Stop in the villages of Black Hmong and Red Dzaos. Arrival at Lai Chau in the afternoon, transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Lai Chau.

Day 8: Lai Chau-Dien Bien (B)

Breakfast. 8:00 departure to Dien Bien Phu, the provincial capital and a commercial door to China andLaos. Stop at a Black Thais village, free lunch. Arrival to Dien Bien, discovery of the place and the surrounding hills, the Franco-Vietnamese battle, the Hill A1, the QG as well as the Museum of Dien Bien Phu. Overnight at the hotel in Dien Bien.

Day 9: Dien Bien- Tay Trang- Muang La (B)

Breakfast. Road to the Tay Trang border (Stop at the border for customs formalities). Welcome to the Tay Trang border then transfer to Muang La. Muang La, famous for its natural hot springs by mid afternoon. Here you can relax with a traditional massage, or enjoy the hot springs. Overnight in Muang La.

Day 10: Muang La. Visit (B)

Breakfast. Today we explore the local and take an easy trek around the beautiful surrounding countryside to visit the many ethnic hill tribes that live around the area. The evening, relaxing in naturalhot springs, taking a traditional massage and enjoying the excellent local Laotian cuisine in the restaurant. Overnight at Muang La.

Day 11: The Moung La- Muang Sing (B)

Breakfast. Drive to Muang Sing, the home of ethnic people: large community of Tai Lu, Akha, Hmong and Yao. Stops to visit local villages and Khmu Leantean on the way. Night in Muang Sing.

Day 12: Muang Sing Luangnamtha (B)

Breakfast. The morning, visit the colorful market of the local population attractive offer local products. Short trek to visit the villages of Akha, Yao. Drive to Luangnamtha history, then visit Ban Thongchai, Tai Dam weaving village. Overnight at Luangnamtha.

Day 13: Luangnamtha-Oudomxai-Pakbeng (B)

Breakfast. Start early in the morning for transfer to Pak Beng. Stop en route at Oudomxay for the lunch. Oudomxay, on the banks of the Nam Beng is dominated by Mount Phou That and his stupa and it is an important crossroads along Route 13 to connect the northern regions of Laos to the rest of the country and China. This position was established by the Chinese since the 60s. Moreover, the city is inhabited by a large Chinese community. Then continue to Pakbeng. Situated half way between Houay Xay and Luang Prabang, Pak Beng is a necessary stop for slow boats. The city is built of wooden houses located along the main street that leads to the hill with a beautiful view. Overnight in Pakbeng.

Day 14: Pakbeng-Pak Ou Cave-Luangprabang (B)

Breakfast. Walk to Pakbeng market, where people from surrounding villages of minorities exchange their goods. We walk in the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the peace countryside and an interesting visit pf the mysterious caves of Pak Ou. Along the way, we stop at Ban Xang Hai village, where they make the local rice wine. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 15: Luang Prabang- city tour (B)

Breakfast. Depart to visit the oldest temple Wat Sene and the beautiful landscape Wat Xieng Thong with its gleaming temple roofs. See the impressive stupa Wat Visoun, Wat Aham and Wat Mai temple. Continue by visiting the National Museum Palais Royal. In the evening, discover the night market. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 16: Luang Prabang - Khouangsi - Xiengkhoang (B)

Breakfast. Early morning, the alms giving to monks local in the streets. Excursion to spectacular waterfalls Khuoangsi in the the bottom of a forest, with its dams and ponds of the clear limestone. Cross the villages with their traditional rice mills Hydro. Return to Luang Prabang and then drive to Xieng Khoang through the beautiful scenery. Arrival at Vang Vieng in late afternoon. Check into hotel. Overnight in Xieng Khoang.

Day 17: Xienkhoang-Vangvieng (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Ponsavanh market and important archaeological sites in the plain of Jars, where hundreds of large stone are scattered all over a plateau. These huge jars are supposedly over 2,000 years old. Continue the road to take again the crossroads Sala Khou Khoune. Turn left onto the highway N. 13 from south to the city of Kasi and the famous village of Ban Pha Tang. Arrive Vang Vieng in the afternoon, transfer to hotel, located along the Nam Song River. Then visit the city or enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Nam Song River. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

Day 18: Vang Vieng - Vientiane (road) 160km - 3.5 h (B)

Breakfast. Walk around the central market. Enjoy a short bamboo raft along the river Namsong, which gives us an adventure. After that, visit Tham Jang cave which was used in 19th century in defense against the Chinese invaders. Road to Vientiane. On arrival check into hotel. Walk in the local market, explore the life of local people. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 19: Vientiane (B). Departure

Breakfast. 8:00, departure to visit the capital city: visit Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in Vientiane. This amazing structure contains the frescoes and remarkable statues of Buddha. The next view is Haw Pha Kaew former royal temple, which previously accommodated the famous green image of Buddha. We also visit the imposing monument of Patouxai known as the own Arc de Triomphe of Vientiane before continuing to the big structure and and sacred symbol of Laotian: Luang Stupa. Transfer to airport for flight off. End of our services!
