We had plenty of guides, but the diversity is very rich, because their personalities and comments were different. The drivers were very helpful, always on time, no problem.
I maybe could just bring a comment for the visit in Pnom Penh. We arrived at about 1pm in this city, after a long trip of 5h30 in hydroplane. There’s not any plan for a lunch and we started the tour of the city just after a good shower at the hotel. For my part, I was very tired and hungry. Maybe it would nice to provide a lunch break for those who wish before beginning the tour of the city. It was very interesting too but I have suffered a little, though I keep very good memory. Otherwise, I see no improvement to be made ; it was a very rich journey with an organization close to perfect. We were able to enjoy the hotel’s pool the last day in SiemReap, until the time of departure at 18h, even if we had to make room at noon, and it was very pleasant for the heat and the long hours in the plane waiting for us. This is for today, I’m going back to work, the holidays are finished, but we are lucky, the weather is very beautiful here, even warmly for March. Highlights of our trip : Personally, sharing the life of ethnic minorities has been an unforgettable experience, and if I could do it again, I’d extend a few days. The landscape of the North, no words can express our happiness of having crossed them. Center : The imperial city is a splendor. Hoi An a paradise ! Indochina Hotel, with his free shuttle, an excellent compromise between beach and city. South :Maybe the period was a little move forward because of weather issue ? But navigating on Mekong is still a highlight for its colors, life on the river, unforgettable moments. There would still have many things to say, but the list would be too long !!! A very good choice concerng the accomodation (exception : forpersonal reason,the one in Hanoi and lanRung resort in the South). The guides are different but they have the same desire of sharing their passion (the one in Sapa is a little reserved, lack a bit of presence) Having the female guides is another way to know the daily life of Vietnamese. The excellent memory of our trip will remain for many years, thanks to you, thanks again for your service.
We would like to point out some details that could possibly improve the quality of services : Day 18 (03/04/2014) visit the floating market in Cai Be was made a little bit late. Finally, day 21 and 22 (6 and 7.04.2014) the place and the hotel did not correspond to our way of travelling : too much luxury and a bit eccentric. We’ll not forget to send you some photos during our trip next time. It was a real pleasure to organize this trip with your collaborator, thanks again. All of this is made so as to we can keep an excellent memory of the journey. Concerning our comments on the whole journey, I repeat that we were very satisfied on every line, only exception perhaps a remarks about the jeep tour at Nam Cat Tien park, at 60km/h, a little bit fast to appreciate the environment, fortunately, it caught by Khoi who organized us a walking tour.
