A visa to enter Indonesia is required of all French citizens (and many other nationalities) since 1 February 2004. The validity of this visa is limited to 30 days, not renewable on site. Nationals of a number of countries, including France, benefit from the ease of obtaining a visa upon arrival in Indonesia, however, limited to some points of entry. The cost of this visa on arrival in Indonesia amounts to $ 25 USD for a visa of 30 day and $ 10 for a visa of 3 days. These visas can also be obtained before departure from the Indonesian Embassy in Paris or the Consulate General of Indonesia in Marseille, but at a higher cost (50 euros for a maximum stay of 60 days). It is reminded that the Indonesian authorities require a visa'' business'' for any entrance on the territory for business purposes, even for a very short stay. |
